Royal Caribbean has made a focused effort to make their cruises highly accessible to persons with disabilities, retrofitting their vessels extensively with lifts and ramps for wheelchairs, adding Braille lettering to all signage throughout cruise ships, infrared systems in theatres to amplify sound for the hard of hearing, and sensitivity training for staff to handle the needs of disabled persons.
