Social Role
Rotex also plays an important role as social group for past students. This includes organizing functions, reunions or camps to allow students to keep in contact. This allows the students to continue to communicate with their peers and acts to assist with the reverse culture shock on return from exchange.

Famous quotes containing the words social and/or role:
“As social beings we live with our eyes upon our reflection, but have no assurance of the tranquillity of the waters in which we see it.”
—Charles Horton Cooley (1864–1929)
“The traditional American husband and father had the responsibilities—and the privileges—of playing the role of primary provider. Sharing that role is not easy. To yield exclusive access to the role is to surrender some of the potential for fulfilling the hero fantasy—a fantasy that appeals to us all. The loss is far from trivial.”
—Faye J. Crosby (20th century)
