Environmental Protection
The "And Quiet Flows the Don" ecologicak association is named after M.A. Sholokhov's famous novel about the Cossacks. It documents the state of the environment and provides its results to the public. The group has reforested 25 hectares of land on the left bank of the river Don. Peace Corps volunteers have assisted.
