Athletics

Reagan is home to the following athletic teams: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, field hockey, football, golf, ice hockey, indoor track, lacrosse, dance, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, winter guard, and wrestling. 2010 Cross Country Regional Champs.

The Reagan Raiders Ice Hockey team is a part of the CHL or Carolina Hockey League. The League consists of teams from Virginia Beach, Roanoke,VA, Florence,SC, Wilmington,NC, and Fayetteville,NC. Reagan represents the city of Winston Salem, NC.

The Reagan Girl's Golf Team placed second in the state championships during the 2011/2012 school year, and student Victoria Allred placed number one overall in the state.

Student Caroline Neil placed 24th in the 200 meter breaststroke at the USA Swimming Nation Championships, and has made the 2012 Olympic cuts. Along with Neil, student Alexandra Marsahall made the cuts for the Canadian Olympic team.

The school's Class AAAA Band of Raiders was one of the schools first successful athletic programs, adding 32 members to its ranks in the 2011-2012 school year alone, with numbers expected to top ninety in the 2012 season. At the Food Lion Classic Marching Band Competition in September, 2010, the band earned "Band of the Day," a high honor, and at Patton High School, the school's Jazz I ensemble place superior in competition.
