In Men's Health Magazine (no longer online but reprinted on noharm.org), he remarks that "Circumcision removes one-third to one-half of the skin on the penile shaft. The average circumcision cuts off what would grow into about 30 square centimetres of sexually sensitive skin."
Goldman was interviewed by the Baltimore Jewish Times (1997), where he says "Circumcision is overwhelmingly painful and traumatic".
