He is married to Carlene Moore, better known as Jazz. In November 2008, the couple had twin girls named Summer and Skye.
Begnaud runs a wrestling school with his wife called The Dog Pound.
Begnaud is friends with former manager Theodore Long and fellow wrestlers Mark Henry, Gregory Helms, Rey Mysterio, Bret Hart, Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin. He was also a friend of Chris Benoit.
