Biography

Born as Rodleen Giecek to Pamela and Edward Giecek, Getsic first began writing a cappella songs in Granite Falls, Washington where she was raised. The first song that 'came' to her was titled "Entrust Yourself". In addition to her voice, she plays and writes with non-traditional guitar, bass, upright bass, piano, djembe, and continues to learn other instruments. Her official symbol is the Double You Omen, anarchy and peace.

She has archived hundreds of songs through the Library of Congress and Internet Archive. In some references, her voice is compared to Diamanda Galás and Clare Torry of Pink Floyd's "Great Gig in the Sky."
