  • - The song Running Bear was originally recorded by Johnny Preston in 1959 and has the songwriting credit given to J.P. Richardson. This is the song that the Guess Who performs on Rockin'. Clarence "Curly" Herdman also recorded a song called Running Bear, released on his 1967 album Fancy Fiddle, for which he apparently receives credit as the composer. It is unclear whether there is one Running Bear song with a conflicting composer credit, or if there are two different Running Bear songs with an erroneous attribution on Rockin'.

Famous quotes containing the word track:

I know what you’re thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off—you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
