Rock Witchu Tour

The Rock Witchu Tour was the fifth concert tour by American singer-songwriter, Janet Jackson, in support of her tenth studio album Discipline. This was Jackson's first tour in nearly seven years. The tour visited North America. A Japanese leg was planned for February 2009, however the concert promoters for the Japan dates later cancelled them due to the events of the 2009 economic crisis. The tour officially ended on November 1, 2008 in New York City.

Famous quotes containing the words rock and/or tour:

    The acorn’s not yet
    Fallen from the tree
    That’s to grow the wood,
    That’s to make the cradle,
    That’s to rock the bairn,
    That’s to grow a man,
    That’s to lay me.
—Unknown. The Cauld Lad of Hilton or, The Wandering Spectre (l. 2–8)

Do you know I believe that [William Jennings] Bryan will force his nomination on the Democrats again. I believe he will either do this by advocating Prohibition, or else he will run on a Prohibition platform independent of the Democrats. But you will see that the year before the election he will organize a mammoth lecture tour and will make Prohibition the leading note of every address.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)
