Robot Rock (song)

Robot Rock (song)

"Robot Rock" is the first single from Daft Punk's 2005 album Human After All. While the single reached a moderately high chart position, many critics found the song overly repetitive. It prominently features sampled portions of "Release the Beast" performed by Breakwater.

The song is featured on the game DJ Hero mixed with band Queen's "We Will Rock You" and is called "We Will (Robot) Rock You".

Famous quotes containing the words robot and/or rock:

The person who designed a robot that could act and think as well as your four-year-old would deserve a Nobel Prize. But there is no public recognition for bringing up several truly human beings.
    C. John Sommerville (20th century)

Glorious things of thee are spoken, Zion city of our God!
He, whose word cannot be broken, Form’d for thee his own abode:
On the rock of ages founded, What can shake thy sure repose?
With salvation’s walls surrounded Thou may’st smile at all thy foes.
    John Newton (1725–1807)
