Wrath of Ondoy and Renovation
Last September 26, 2009, because of Typhoon Ondoy, the basement level of the mall was flooded, including Toys R US, the supermarket and other establishments. It led to the closure of the entire mall.
The Mall's Renovation began in August 2011.
