Wind Ups
A long-standing feature of Galloway's radio shows have been wind-up phone calls, first heard on Northsound 1, before becoming a fixture on Scot FM shows and Real Radio Scotland's breakfast show. Since 1999, annual compilation CDs of the wind-up calls have been released with the 2007 edition achieving Gold sales status. However Galloway has decided to cancel his crank calls for a mark of respect after nurse Jacintha Saldanha committed suicide.
