The Goddess of Media, oil on linen, carved wood, 23k gold leaf, dried blood, bone dust, pigment, 43 by 54 inches (110 cm × 140 cm), 2009. An image of Scarlett Johansson dressed in religious robes, and the flattened style of her body is typical of iconographic church paintings. Splatters of black paint violently mar the left side of her face as she holds up two newspapers emblazoned with apocalyptic headlines. Surrounding the work is a heavily carved 23k gilt frame, accented liberally with blood and bone dust.

The God of Whitewashing, soap, human teeth, soap dish, toothbrushes, toothbrush holder, 2009. Some of Mihaly's works such as this do not employ traditional media or aesthetics. The bar of translucent soap is spiked with real human teeth.
