Retirement
McCracken retired from fighting after the Eastman loss, and now works for the Hennessy Sports company, training numerous boxers. His most successful and high profile fighters to date are Carl Froch and former rival Eastman. As wellas training Froch He is currently the Performance Director of the Great Britain Boxing Team which is based in Sheffield and has been credited with considerable transformation in success since his appointment to the role.
He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to boxing and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
