Every town has an Elm Street.
Michael Deluca, U.S. screenwriter, and Rachel Talalay. Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund)

The “control of nature” is a phrase conceived in arrogance, born of the Neanderthal age of biology and the convenience of man.
    —Rachel Carson (1907–1964)

    Russell Baker (20th century)

We’ll set thee to school to an ant, to teach thee there’s no laboring i’ the winter.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
