Famous quotes containing the word temper:
“Photography suits the temper of this ageof active bodies and minds. It is a perfect medium for one whose mind is teeming with ideas, imagery, for a prolific worker who would be slowed down by painting or sculpting, for one who sees quickly and acts decisively, accurately.”
—Edward Weston (18861958)
“The colicky baby who becomes calm, the quiet infant who throws temper tantrums at two, the wild child at four who becomes serious and studious at six all seem to surprise their parents. It is difficult to let go of ones image of a child, say goodbye to the child a parent knows, and get accustomed to this slightly new child inhabiting the known childs body.”
—Ellen Galinsky (20th century)
