Rizwanur Rahman (1977 – 21 September 2007) was a 30-year-old computer graphics trainer who was possibly murdered after marrying Priyanka Todi, daughter of industrialist Ashok Todi. Initially, the incident was made out to be suicide, since Rizwanur was found under the rails, but evidence of police intimidation led to a media furore, alleging that the authorities were covering up the incident under pressure from Todi, who heads the Rs. 400 crore firm Lux Cozi. In May 2010, the Kolkata High Court declared the case as one of murder and it is now being re-investigated by the CBI.
