Dams
There are several hydroelectric dams operating in the basin, among them, the Rincon del Bonete or Gabriel Terra Reservoir on the Rio Negro in Uruguay. Further down the river the Baygorria Dam and the Constitution Dam at Palmar. The Salto Grande Dam is on the Uruguayan river on the border between Uruguay and Argentina.
