Rick Sanchez - Return To Cable News

Return To Cable News

Rick Sanchez has returned as a columnist on Fox News Latino. Sanchez was offered a short term gig with the website, in which he is expected to provide insights into the Latino community. Fox News Latino coincidentally also launched in October 2010, the same month Sanchez was fired from CNN. Since joining Fox News Latino, he has appeared on the Fox News Channel as a contributor. Ironically, in July 2009, Sanchez disparaged Hispanic employees of Fox News as having "sold out" and in April 2009, suggested that the perpetrator of the 2009 Pittsburgh police shootings was influenced by Fox News.

Famous quotes containing the words return to, return, cable and/or news:

I thought to myself that it was still another Sunday gone by, that Mother was now buried, that I was going to return to work and that, after all, nothing had changed.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

Adolescence is a time when children are supposed to move away from parents who are holding firm and protective behind them. When the parents disconnect, the children have no base to move away from or return to. They aren’t ready to face the world alone. With divorce, adolescents feel abandoned, and they are outraged at that abandonment. They are angry at both parents for letting them down. Often they feel that their parents broke the rules and so now they can too.
    Mary Pipher (20th century)

To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars.
    Douglass Cross (b. 1920)

[In response to this question from an interviewer: “U. S. News and World Report described you this way: ‘She’s intolerant, preachy, judgmental and overbearing. She’s bright, articulate, passionate and kind.’ Is that an accurate description?”:]
It’s ... pretty good [ellipsis in original].
    Joycelyn Elders (b. 1933)
