Richard Skipper has received artistic and critical acclaim over the past 19 years as first class entertainer. 2011 was a breakout year for Richard. When he closed his off-Broadway tribute to Carol Channing in February 2011, it had garnered Richard 25 rave reviews! Richard was the associate producer of the 2010, 2012, 2013 Bistro Awards. He recently produced Peggy HermanÕs CD Release Party at Feinsteins, directed by Peter Glebo and Tommy Tune, and it was an SRO success. Richard can be seen in Dori Berenstein's CAROL CHANNING: LARGER THAN LIFE. In 2011, Richard debuted "To Carol Channing With Love" at Blame It On Midnight in Palm Springs. It honored Carol Channing's 90th Birthday and was a benefit for Carol Channing's Foundation For The Arts (www.ChanningArts.org). Carol and the late Harry Kullijian were in attendance. Richard is now focused mostly on his writing and producing this year. He has a highly successful blog called RICHARD SKIPPER CELEBRATES, focusing on Artists and their body of ÒWorthÓ and what makes a great UNIQUE entertainer! He is currently writing a book celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hello, Dolly!

Richard continues to teach his workshops on CREATING HIGHER VISIBILITY utilizing social media. He has served on several panels on the business end of show business and is often asked to emcee many prestigious events. He is campaigning diligently for Carol Channing to receive a long over due Kennedy Center Honor in 2012. He also continues to raise money for The Dr. Carol Channing-Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts, Established in 2005 with the hopes of bringing the importance of arts education to the general public, provide music instruments for underfunded public schools and scholarships for California State University students. Exciting things are happening in 2012. Richard's shows continue to be sell-outs. Richard is also available for one-on-one consultations which afford you the personal time with him catering specifically and only to your needs.

Other highlights include performing the role of Dolly Levi as Carol Channing at Asbury Park's Paramount Theater in a special benefit performance of "Hello Dolly!" with a cast of 125 and a 25 piece orchestra; a Theatre Wing tribute to Carol Channing, Tommy Tune and James Earl Jones; benefit performances for the Dr. Carol Channing Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts with Carol and Harry in attendance and special guest star Neil Sedaka! Richard also serves on the board of the Foundation as the east coast representative. Richard has appeared on board WindStar Cruise Lines from Rome to Athens, and several return engagements in celebration of Carol Channing's birthdays at Washington DC's National Theater. He has appeared at Carnegie Hall with Sam Harris and The New York City Gay Men's Chorus, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and an appearance with Carol Channing and the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus at the Palace Of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Richard Skipper has taken his tribute to Carol Channing to Atlantic City for three long-running engagements at Trump's Taj Mahal and The Hilton. He has played three engagements at Caesar's Casino Windsor in Windsor, Ontario and The Windsor Hilton. Other engagements include The Ice Palace on Fire Island (for which he won two Mikey Awards for best act on Fire Island), St. Luke's Theatre, The Bradstan Inn (in the Catskills), Georgian Court College (with Dody Goodman), The Ocean's Inn and The New Crown And Anchor in Provincetown, MA; Tavern On The Green and The Russian Tea Room. He was the featured performer for Pridefest in Milwaukee along with Pat Benatar and Judy Tenuta.

Richard Skipper has also performed at the 21 Club at the request of Arlene Dahl, The Regent (special performance for Carol Channing!), Le Cirque for Joey Adams' 85th Birthday; on numerous occasions for the NY Post's gossip columnist Cindy Adams; as a guest star in "The Impersonators" with Jamie deRoy at The Friar's Club, The New York Historical Society with Claire Bloom, Donna McKechnie, Hayley Mills, Tony Roberts, and George Shearing ; the "Get Out And Vote" Rally for New Jersey's Senator Lautenberg with Dr. Quinn's Chad Allen, Activist James Dale & Rue McClanahan; and he has also shared the stage with Carol Channing on more than one occasion.
