In the later Transformers: Armada series, which is set in a different Transformers universe from Beast Wars and Beast Machines, Rhinox was one of five Transmetal Beast Warriors who appeared in Armada. Their toys were re-colored and modified to include Mini-Con powerlink points. Each was then partnered with one or more re-colored Mini-Cons from the Adventure and Street Speed Teams. Rhinox was partnered with Armorhide and was the only one of the four to appear in animated form.
