Rescue Therapy

Rescue therapy refers to non-surgical medical treatment in life-threatening situations. Commonly, rescue therapy refers to drug treatment for cardiovascular problems intended to regain normal heart rhythm. Less commonly, rescue therapy refers to multi-drug combinations for HIV-positive patients who have developed resistance to the standard antiretroviral drug cocktails.
