Reproduction of Croatian Currency - Rules

Rules

The Bank issued an act regarding this matter on February 28, 2002. The decisions most relevant to reproductions of Croatian banknotes are listed in Article 10, titled Reproduction, which states the following:

1. The Croatian National Bank owns the copyright on banknotes it publishes.
2. The Croatian National Bank allows reproduction of banknotes it has published in the following cases:
a) for photographs, drawings, pictures, films, and generally any work for which the banknote itself or its reproduction does not hold central meaning and which does not contain a magnified version of the banknote's design;
b) for the reproduction of banknotes specified in paragraph 1 of this article, whose length or width is increased to more than 125 percent or decreased to less than 75 percent, regardless which medium is used for reproduction.
3. The Croatian National Bank must approve any other way of reproduction.
4. The approval for reproductions which meet the conditions described in paragraphs 1 and 2 may be withdrawn in case of violation of unalienable moral rights of the authors of the banknotes' design.

Famous quotes containing the word rules:

    ... geometry became a symbol for human relations, except that it was better, because in geometry things never go bad. If certain things occur, if certain lines meet, an angle is born. You cannot fail. It’s not going to fail; it is eternal. I found in rules of mathematics a peace and a trust that I could not place in human beings. This sublimation was total and remained total. Thus, I’m able to avoid or manipulate or process pain.
    Louise Bourgeois (b. 1911)

    You’d leave your own mother here, if the rules called for it.
    Michael Wilson (1914–1978)

    Unfortunately, we cannot rely solely on employers seeing that it is in their self-interest to change the workplace. Since the benefits of family-friendly policies are long-term, they may not be immediately visible or quantifiable; companies tend to look for success in the bottom line. On a deeper level, we are asking those in power to change the rules by which they themselves succeeded and with which they identify.
    Anne C. Weisberg (20th century)
