Rensis Likert - Likert Scale

Likert Scale

Likert developed the Likert scale in 1932, and used it to identify the extent of a person’s beliefs, attitudes, or feelings towards some objects. The traditional Likert scale asks people the extent to which they agree or disagree with a statement on a 5-point scale. The scale ranges from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree.”

Famous quotes containing the word scale:

The Humanity of men and women is inversely proportional to their Numbers. A Crowd is no more human than an Avalanche or a Whirlwind. A rabble of men and women stands lower in the scale of moral and intellectual being than a herd of Swine or of Jackals.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
