Rene Ranger

Rene Ranger (born 30 September 1986 in Northland, New Zealand) is a rugby union player who represents Northland in the ITM Cup and the Blues in Super Rugby. Ranger made his debut for New Zealand on 26 June 2010 after a superb season with the Blues. Ranger is partly of Cook island descent, although his father is English, from Hartlepool, in County Durham, and his Great Uncle played Rugby for West Hartlepool in the 1950s. Ranger plays the positions of wing and centre.
