Home Crafts
Refrigerator magnets are also popular as crafts projects.
A variety of construction methods and materials are used by crafters, such as plastic sleeves, metal buttons, laminating and printing on flexible magnetic substrates. Millions of such magnetic wares may be found on the internet.
In 1996 Jeffery Gauss a.k.a as the MagnetDude began to create his art on the vinyl magnetic surface itself. Since he began he has created over 40,000 unique pieces of magnetic art. In Minneapolis home of Magnetic Poetry, Gauss began to create and sell his pieces at Calhoun Square in Uptown.

Famous quotes containing the word home:
“... if there’s a house, then there is a wall ... between them and the outside world. The ideal is to stay inside and to never have to go out, and the whole idea of staying home is really important. I think men do get out, but it is not glamorized the way it is here in America, where the big story is to ride out and go someplace and to travel.”
—Gish Jen (b. 1956)
