In 2007, Redlands High School was ranked 1208 in Newsweek's Survey of the Top 1300 U.S. Public High Schools. In 2008, Redlands High School ranked 1228. Redlands High was the only public high school in the Redlands School District to be placed on the list. It beat nearby public rivals including Redlands East Valley High School, and Yucaipa High School. The survey did not include private and charter schools such as Grove High School or Arrowhead Christian Academy.
