Land-line telephone service is provided by Bell Canada. Wireless (cellular) service is currently very reliable—i.e. connections can be made roaming and using Bell or using Northern Tel Bell Alliance the newest Company to take over the project, The Canadian mobile phone Company which is Northern-Tel also a part of Bell Aliant that has installed wireless equipment on the main Tower which is with two black spots being on the main highway at Black Sturgeon Bridge and just past Peterson Road heading to or from Kenora, Cell/Mobile Phone coverage is also up to the English River Road up to Sixth Lake then starts to peter off which is in operation, Redditt and its Township have full Cell/Mobile coverage all the way to Kenora.click on following link to see full coverage http://www.northerntelmobility.com/mobilecoverage/ As of 2008 wireless broadband Internet is available from KMTS Kenora (now also part of the Bell Aliant family). Television is limited to two off-air channels, one of which is the CBC. Satellite TV is available through Shaw Direct previously Star Choice or Bell TV.
