Red Letter Days is a UK company which pioneered the concept of giving experience day vouchers as gifts and corporate rewards. Also see Experience gifts.
Red Letter Days is jointly owned by BBC2 Dragons' Den entrepreneurs Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones, who purchased the company out of administration in August 2005. They revealed on Alan Carr: Chatty Man that they made the decision to purchase the company whilst under the influence of alcohol. Following the acquisition, Jones and Paphitis made the decision to honour an estimated 135,000 Red Letter Days vouchers, to a value of approximately £17m.

Famous quotes containing the words red, letter and/or days:
“The true colour of life is the colour of the body, the colour of the covered red, the implicit and not explicit red of the living heart and the pulses. It is the modest colour of the unpublished blood.”
—Alice Meynell (18471922)
“The desire of most parents is first and foremost to do what is best for their children. Every interview with a mother or father confirms this, every letter written by a parent breathes this deep-seated wish, I hope I am doing the right thing for my child. This is real and honest, and at the very base of parenthood.”
—Irma Simonton Black (20th century)
“The twelfth day of Christmas,
My true love sent to me
Twelve lords a-leaping.”
—Unknown. The Twelve Days of Christmas (l. 8991)
