Red Hat Certification Program - Certifications - Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist (RHCDS)

Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist (RHCDS)

RHCDS is an advanced-level certification that builds on system administration skills covered by the RHCE certification, and enhances it with the capabilities required to build solutions in mission-critical datacenter environments using Red Hat technologies. To achieve the RHCDS certification, the student must pass three exams, EX401, a four hour exam on Enterprise Deployment, EX436, a 4 hour exam on Clustering and Storage and either EX423 described above or EX318, a three hour exam on Virtualization. RHCE is prerequisite for the certificate. Other than RHCE there is no prerequisite for the exams (EX318 does not require RHCE), but Red Hat recommends preparing for the exams by taking the three respective four day courses, RH401, RH436 and either RH423 or RH318.

RHCDS was launched in October 2007.

Famous quotes containing the words red, hat, certified and/or specialist:

    To-night the winds begin to rise
    And roar from yonder dropping day:
    The last red leaf is whirl’d away,
    The rooks are blown about the skies;

    The forest crack’d, the waters curl’d,
    The cattle huddled on the lea;
    Alfred Tennyson (1809–1892)

    The importance of its hat to a form becomes
    More definite. The sweeping brim of the hat
    Makes of the form Most Merciful Capitan,
    If the observer says so....
    Wallace Stevens (1879–1955)

    Faith means belief in something concerning which doubt is still theoretically possible; and as the test of belief is willingness to act, one may say that faith is the readiness to act in a cause the prosperous issue of which is not certified to us in advance.
    William James (1842–1910)

    As a thinker and planner, the ant is the equal of any savage race of men; as a self-educated specialist in several arts, she is the superior of any savage race of men; and in one or two high mental qualities she is above the reach of any man, savage or civilized.
    Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835–1910)
