Red Bull Junior Team

The Red Bull Junior Team is a program run by the energy drink company Red Bull GmbH in an attempt to identify potential future racing stars in open wheel racing. The similar Red Bull Driver Search, now ended, was an American spinoff of the same idea. Members of the Junior Team are financed and sponsored by Red Bull in lower racing formulae.

The programs have been successful in bringing a selection of drivers into Formula One. However, only one of them (Sebastian Vettel) has won a Formula One race. Red Bull owns two teams in Formula One, Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso.

The Red Bull Junior Team was also the official name of RSM Marko, a team that competed in International Formula 3000 between 1999 and 2003, sponsored by Red Bull and run by Helmut Marko.

Famous quotes containing the words red, bull, junior and/or team:

The poppy that my heart was,
    formed to bind all mortals,
made to strike and gather hearts
    like flame upon an altar,
fades and shrinks, a red leaf
drenched and torn in the cold rain.
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)

    I was a fire-breathing Catholic C.O.,
    and made my manic statement,
telling off the state and president, and then
sat waiting sentence in the bull pen
beside a Negro boy with curlicues
    of marijuana in his hair.
    Robert Lowell (1917–1977)

Never burn bridges. Today’s junior prick, tomorrow’s senior partner.
Kevin Wade, U.S. screenwriter, and Mike Nichols. Katharine Parker (Sigourney Weaver)

Romeo. I dreamt a dream tonight.
    Mercutio. And so did I.
    Romeo. Well, what was yours?
    Mercutio. That dreamers often lie.
Romeo. In bed asleep, while they do dream things true.
Mercutio. O then I see Queen Mab hath been with you.
She is the fairies’ midwife, and she comes
In shape no bigger than an agate stone
On the forefinger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomi
Over men’s noses as they lie asleep.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
