Reality (Dream Album) - Release and Promotion

Release and Promotion

Dream returned to the music scene with a sexier image in June 2003 with the release of the album's first single, "Crazy" (featuring Loon). The song didn't receive the acclaim and popularity of the group's debut single "He Loves U Not" and its accompanying music video caused controversy due to member Kasey Sheridan's provacative dancing because many thought she was too young to be dancing in such a suggestive way (she was only 15-years-old at the time).

Reality was originally due for a May 2003 release but was pushed back numerous times until, ultimately, it was never released. Because of this, plans for "That's OK" (featuring Fabulous) to be released as a second single were cancelled and Dream got dropped from Bad Boy Records. In September 2005, Reality was available for purchase through French Virgin Megastores under Universal Records and on May 13, 2008, Reality became available for digital purchase on iTunes.

Famous quotes containing the words release and/or promotion:

    Come, thou long-expected Jesus,
    born to set thy people free;
    from our fears and sins release us,
    let us find our rest in thee.
    Charles Wesley (1707–1788)

    Parents can fail to cheer your successes as wildly as you expected, pointing out that you are sharing your Nobel Prize with a couple of other people, or that your Oscar was for supporting actress, not really for a starring role. More subtly, they can cheer your successes too wildly, forcing you into the awkward realization that your achievement of merely graduating or getting the promotion did not warrant the fireworks and brass band.
    Frank Pittman (20th century)
