Mass Appraisal and Automated Valuation Models

Automated valuation models (AVMs) are growing in acceptance. These rely on statistical models such as multiple regression analysis or geographic information systems (GIS). And because they matter to us—for various reasons, at various levels of intensity—they enrich the quality of our emotional life.
    Judith Viorst (20th century)
