Musical Aspect
All of "Ready"'s songs are slow to mid-tempo songs which are mainly R&B and Jazz. As mentioned before, this would be a major trigger for singers such as Faye Wong to release R&B. "Ready" contained no upbeat dances as most of her other album in the 1980s would, even the remixes were just slow alternate versions. Sandy covered six songs of which only one was Japanese(Self-made Space).

Famous quotes containing the words musical and/or aspect:
“Syncopations are no indication of light or trashy music, and to shy bricks at hateful ragtime no longer passes for musical culture.”
—Scott Joplin (18681917)
“Whenever we encounter the Infinite in man, however imperfectly understood, we treat it with respect. Whether in the synagogue, the mosque, the pagoda, or the wigwam, there is a hideous aspect which we execrate and a sublime aspect which we venerate. So great a subject for spiritual contemplation, such measureless dreamingthe echo of God on the human wall!”
—Victor Hugo (18021885)
