Raymore-Peculiar High School (Missouri)

Raymore-Peculiar High School Campus (Ray-Pec) is a public high school serving the towns of Raymore, Peculiar, parts of Lee's Summit, and some unincorporated areas of Cass county, Missouri. In 2010, it was announced that both a North building (originally the district's sole middle school) and the traditional South building would both be used in a campus-style environment to accommodate the growing student population and to address recent concerns about overcrowding. Both schools are located in Peculiar, Missouri. The school's mascot is the Panther and the school colors are officially black and white, although gold has been in regular use for some time. It is also a participant in Missouri's A+ program.

It is commonly referred to as 'Ray-Pec'.

Famous quotes containing the words high and/or school:

Young people of high school age can actually feel themselves changing. Progress is almost tangible. It’s exciting. It stimulates more progress. Nevertheless, growth is not constant and smooth. Erik Erikson quotes an aphorism to describe the formless forming of it. “I ain’t what I ought to be. I ain’t what I’m going to be, but I’m not what I was.”
    Stella Chess (20th century)

What a wise and good parent will desire for his own children a nation must desire for all children.
