Training
The work developed by Rato - ADCC in the field of Informatics is based on non formal education methodologies with emphasis on the discovery process aiming the goal of Lifelong learning - the end of a workshop is always a beginning.
The global training activity is structured in the following project areas:
- Login – Workshops for initiation in Informatics and information technologies
- ComOn – Workshops for the promotion of Information Society
- OPen Code! – Workshops for the Promotion of the Information Society
All training activities are supported by an e-learning platform of Rato - ADCC, where is available for all participants in the workshops of Rato - ADCC several resources and activities.
Another aspect that should be underlined is the fact the trainers/facilitators are in the great majority young volunteers of the association that are integrated and supported in the strategies, methodologies and techniques of the association.

Famous quotes containing the word training:
“The triumphs of peace have been in some proximity to war. Whilst the hand was still familiar with the sword-hilt, whilst the habits of the camp were still visible in the port and complexion of the gentleman, his intellectual power culminated; the compression and tension of these stern conditions is a training for the finest and softest arts, and can rarely be compensated in tranquil times, except by some analogous vigor drawn from occupations as hardy as war.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“Im not suggesting that all men are beautiful, vulnerable boys, but we all started out that way. What happened to us? How did we become monsters of feminist nightmares? The answer, of course, is that we underwent a careful and deliberate process of gender training, sometimes brutal, always dehumanizing, cutting away large chunks of ourselves. Little girls went through something similarly crippling. If the gender training was successful, we each ended up being half a person.”
—Frank Pittman (20th century)
“Its [motherhood] the biggest on-the-job- training program in existence today.”
—Erma Bombeck (20th century)
