Rascal Flatts Discography

Rascal Flatts is an American country group founded in 2000 by Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney. Signed to Lyric Street Records since its foundation, the band has released six studio albums plus a Greatest Hits package, all on the Lyric Street Records label. Their highest-certified album is Feels Like Today, which is certified 5× Platinum. Except for their 2000 self-titled debut, all of the group's albums have reached Number One on Top Country Albums.

The trio has released twenty-seven singles, of which eleven have reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. "Bless the Broken Road" is their longest-lasting Number One at five weeks, while "What Hurts the Most" is also a Number One on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts. The latter song is their highest-peaking entry on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 6. Their second-highest Hot 100 peak is the number 7 "Life Is a Highway", which the group recorded for the soundtrack to the Pixar animated movie Cars; it reached number 18 on the country charts based on unsolicited airplay.

In July 2010, the group signed with Big Machine Records, and released a new album, Nothing Like This, on November 16, 2010. Their eighth studio album, Changed, was released in April 2012.

Rascal Flatts has sold over 21.714 million albums and 25 million digital downloads since their debut. They tie with Dave Matthews Band to become the group with the most Billboard 200 Number One albums in the 2000s since January 2000.

Famous quotes containing the word rascal:

Then Love, I beg, when next thou takest thy bow,
Thy angry shafts, and dost heart-chasing go,
Pass rascal deer, strike me the largest doe.
