Randall Collins, Ph.D. (born 1941, Knoxville, Tennessee) is an American sociologist who is the Dorothy Swaine Thomas Professor in Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the Advisory Editors Council of the Social Evolution & History journal.
