GRADUATE SCHOOL History

At present, the University has seven (7) campuses situated strategically in province of Zambales which include: Iba Campus (Main), San Marcelino, Botolan, Castillejos, Masinloc, Candelaria and Santa Cruz. Before the integration of the three state colleges, the Graduate Schools in Iba (RMPC) and San Marcelino (WLAC) campuses established their linkages in consortia with state universities. WLAC operated in consortia with Central Luzon State University while RMPC worked in consortium with Technological University of the Philippines (TUP). After the integration, the University immediately collaborated with Bulacan State University (BSU) and Tarlac College of Agriculture (TCA). In 2002, under the leadership of the first University President, Dr. Feliciano S. Rosete, the Graduate School operates independently offering graduate programs as follows: Doctor of Education (Ed. Later, the Master ofArts in Education (MAEd), majors in English, Filipino, Science, and Mathematics were offered during the Second Trimester, 2006-2007 in response to the call of the Department of Education (DepEd) Superintendent regarding the declining performances of students in the Division of Zambales. In the Second Trimester of SY 2011-2012, Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) has started after the RMTU Board of Regents approved the offering of this program. Famous quotes containing the words graduate school, graduate, school and/or history:

1946: I go to graduate school at Tulane in order to get distance from a “possessive” mother. I see a lot of a red-haired girl named Maude-Ellen. My mother asks one day: “Does Maude-Ellen have warts? Every girl I’ve known named Maude-Ellen has had warts.” Right: Maude-Ellen had warts.
    Bill Bouke (20th century)

Miss Caswell is an actress, a graduate of the Copacabana school of dramatic arts.
    Joseph L. Mankiewicz (1909–1993)

I wish to speak a word for Nature, for absolute freedom and wildness, as contrasted with a freedom and culture merely civil,—to regard man as an inhabitant, or a part and parcel of Nature, rather than as a member of society. I wish to make an extreme statement, if so I may make an emphatic one, for there are enough champions of civilization: the minister and the school committee and every one of you will take care of that.
    Henry David David (1817–1862)

The foregoing generations beheld God and nature face to face; we, through their eyes. Why should not we also enjoy an original relation to the universe? Why should not we have a poetry and philosophy of insight and not of tradition, and a religion by revelation to us, and not the history of theirs?
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
