The city has many private and government hospitals.Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) is a tertiary level public hospital with teaching facility in graduate and postgraduate medical education. Other than RMCH there are children hospital, chest hospital, infectious disease, Sadar hospital run by government. There is a Christian missionary hospital in the city area. There is one private medical college and another two are under construction.
