Pyramid (Gladiators) - International Differences

International Differences

The Pyramid in the original American series was red and blue before being changed to red and black for the 2008 revival. In Britain, the Pyramid is black and white, whilst in Australia, it is red and white. In the 2008 American revival, a 'scoring zone' was introduced, four tiers from the summit, indicated by a white dotted line. If a contender got their feet above this line they received five points. Also, for the revival of the American series, the event ends immediately upon one contender reaching the top of the Pyramid. The Swedish name for this event was Pyramiden.

Famous quotes containing the word differences:

Toddlerhood resembles adolescence because of the rapidity of physical growth and because of the impulse to break loose of parental boundaries. At both ages, the struggle for independence exists hand in hand with the often hidden wish to be contained and protected while striving to move forward in the world. How parents and toddlers negotiate their differences sets the stage for their ability to remain partners during childhood and through the rebellions of the teenage years.
