Putnam City North is also home to some of Oklahoma's finest high school musical groups, featuring a full-sized marching band, two concert bands, multiple orchestras and choirs, a jazz band, a winter drumline, as well as several smaller branched musical groups. Putnam City North was also the setting of the popular YouTube freestyle video "Fresh New Kicks" which has garnered over 19,000 views.
