Athletics
Purdue–Calumet teams are known the Peregrines. The university competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). Men's sports include baseball (2013), basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and tennis; while women's sports include basketball, cross country, soccer, softball (2013), tennis and volleyball.
The school's basketball teams were NAIA Division I until November, 2006 when the school announced that they were dropping to NAIA Division II status for 2007.
