Famous quotes containing the words psychic and/or detective:

It seems to me that all of the evil in life comes from idleness, boredom, and psychic emptiness, but all of that is inevitable when you become accustomed to living at others’ expense.
    Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860–1904)

When a man’s partner’s killed, he’s supposed to do something about it. It doesn’t make any difference what you thought of him, he was your partner and you’re supposed to do something about it. Bad for every detective everywhere.
    John Huston (1906–1987)
