Qing Dynasty provided several amical or colonial protection to:
- Khanate of Kokand (1774–1798)
- Gorkha Kingdom (1793–1816, by 1816 Gorkha became a protectorate of Britain) (Fukang'an)
- Nguyễn Dynasty (1803–1885, by 1885 Vietnam became a French colony)
- Ryūkyū Kingdom (1644–1879, in 1876 the Ryūkyū Kingdom ceased all diplomatic relation with Qing China and in 1879 was abolished by Japan)
