ProActive Grids & Clouds
ProActive Grids & Clouds aggregates heterogeneous resources such as Desktop Computers, Clusters or Cloud Virtual Machines. This Resource Manager works in collaboration with ProActive Scheduler to find appropriate resources for a given task or job. The resources can be acquired by several strategies:
- from a SSH connection.
- from daemon programs already running on the targeted resource (Agents).
- from Cloud Resources providers such as Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure.
The resource selection is based on selection scripts written in various scripting languages (Javascript, Python, Ruby, etc...).
