Development

Mechner used a process called rotoscoping, in which he studied many hours of film of his younger brother David running and jumping in white clothes. Famous quotes containing the word development:

Men are only as good as their technical development allows them to be.
    George Orwell (1903–1950)

    Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality.
And dreams in their development have breath,
And tears, and tortures, and the touch of joy.
    George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)

The Cairo conference ... is about a complicated web of education and employment, consumption and poverty, development and health care. It is also about whether governments will follow where women have so clearly led them, toward safe, simple and reliable choices in family planning. While Cairo crackles with conflict, in the homes of the world the orthodoxies have been duly heard, and roundly ignored.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)
