Presbyterian Medical Center has been named one of the 50 “Best Hospitals” in America by Becker's Review. Based on national hospital rankings for quality patient care, Presbyterian Medical joins the 50 best list along with nationally renowned medical centers such as Johns Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic. Presbyterian Medical Centeris the only hospital in the Charlotte region on the “best hospitals” list for 2011.
Presbyterian Medical Center recently received the 2011 President’s Award along with 55 other awards from Professional Research Consultants (PRC), a national healthcare marketing organization that conducts satisfaction surveys for the hospital.
In 2010, Presbyterian Medical Center received a three-star rating for cardiac surgical care from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
In 2009 The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP) has recognized Presbyterian Hospital as one of 26 ACS NSQIP participating hospitals in the United States that have achieved exemplary outcomes for surgical patient care.
