Pope Demetrius II of Alexandria was the Coptic Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark (1862–1870).
Pope Demetrius II was enthroned on 10 Paoni 1578 A.M. (15 June 1862 AD).
He attended the opening ceremony for the Suez canal on 17 November 1869 during which he met the Ottoman Sultan Abdülâziz.
The Seat of the Pope during his papacy remained in the Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Azbakeya in Cairo.
Pope Demetrius departed on 11 Tobi 1586 A.M. (18 January 1870 AD).
