In Pont-la-Ville about 132 or (28.8%) of the population have completed non-mandatory upper secondary education, and 57 or (12.4%) have completed additional higher education (either university or a Fachhochschule). The Canton of Fribourg school system provides one year of non-obligatory Kindergarten, followed by six years of Primary school. As of 2000, there were 19 students in Pont-la-Ville who came from another municipality, while 48 residents attended schools outside the municipality.
